Apprenticeship Program

The Tourism Innovation Hub (TIHub) is offering a unique Apprenticeship Program through its initiatives: Kilimanjaro Film Festival, Sanaa Journal, ViJo, and Mkulima Market. This program is designed to empower and equip young, creative minds with the skills and experience needed to excel. The Youth Development Apprenticeship Program aims to provide hands-on training and real-world experience to young individuals interested in joining the creative world. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in the tourism, agriculture, media, film, and other creative industries.

Promote sustainable tourism practices that highlight the cultural and natural assets of Tanzania.

Program
Components

Festival Management

Training in event planning, logistics coordination, budgeting, and audience engagement

Creative Marketing

Skills development in branding, content creation, and marketing strategy, focusing on tourism and cultural events

Graphics Design

Visual communication training, including poster design, digital illustration, and UX design

Social Media Curation

Managing and growing social media platforms with a focus on engaging content and community interaction

Film Production

Comprehensive training in scriptwriting, cinematography, editing, and directing, with an emphasis on African narratives

Target Beneficiaries

The program is aimed at young individuals aged 18-35 in Tanzania and beyond who have an interest, skills, or prior experience in the specified fields. It seeks to provide these youths with the tools and knowledge needed to pursue careers in the creative and tourism industries.
